Hachimitsu to Clover or Honey and Clover is a story about the life of five college students and their love triangles, adapted from manga series written and illustrated by Chika Umino.
Hanamoto Hagumi ( Narumi Riko ) is a genius painter but actually a shy girl. She moved to Tokyo and enter a college. One day Takemoto Yuta ( Ikuta Toma / 生田斗真 ), a junior architecture major spotted her near the pond of their campus and fell in love in the first sight. Their college hosts an exhibition contest and Hagumi's painting become the winner, Shinobu Morita ( Narimiya Hiroki ) senior sculpture major student who always win the contest every year take a look the painting and run to find the painter and hug her out of blue. Yuta who run after Morita shocked to see the bond between them.
There's also Yamada Ayumi ( Harada Natsuki ) who has crush with her college friend Mayama Takumi ( Mukai Osamu ) but Takumi fallen in love with Rika Harada, a designer who he works part time.
PS : Ikuta Toma play his role amazingly as usual, i like his style in this dorama, with his short pants and jacket he looks like a real college student, even younger. *laugh*
