Kaiji - The Ultimate Gambler

Kaiji (Fujiwara Tatsuya) is a part-timer at a minimarket. His life is just an ordinary life, a young man without money and girlfriend ~ a looser. One day, he found out that his friend leave him a huge debt which he impossible to repay. Then the shark loan offered him a solution, he can aboard a cruise ship and play some game. If he wins, the debt will be even. Kaiji take the offer and thanks to his cleverness, he wins...but a logistical screw-up causes him to fall further into debt.
He must pay the debt by working in the uderground mining where he didn't know the location. He met Sahara (Matsuyama Kenichi) who inspired him to take the risk in order to get out from that place. Kaiji gets another shot at redemption when he volunteers to participate in a life-or-death challenge atop a skyscraper with Sahara and some other people. He succeeds while other people fell and died, then he gets the chance to play one last card game - if he win, he has a chance to win back all the money he's lost but if he lose, he would back to the underground mining forever. The end of the story, Kaiji succeed in winning the game, but all that money has gone  because his foolishness.

PS : TWO TUMBS UP! I can't guess the trick that Kaiji use for the game until he explain it....I need to think harder while watching this movie. :D~
The message is "we can't get something easily, we needs struggle and work hard to get it"
